Cósmico Rooftop at SLS Barcelona: Pools, Parties and When It Reopens

Cósmico, the rooftop pool club of the SLS Barcelona hotel at Port Fòrum in Barcelona, Spain, is closed for the season right now: its Instagram bio reads “CLOSED FOR THE SEASON” and its website already talks about the 2027 season, with no opening date yet. In 2026 it opened on 2 June and its last dated event was on 5 September.

What Cósmico is

Cósmico sits on the sixth floor of the SLS Barcelona, at Carrer de la Pau 2, by Port Fòrum, at the eastern end of the seafront, in Sant Adrià de Besòs. Its bio describes it as “Pool Club. Restaurant. Events.”, and its website as a rooftop with two infinity pools looking over the marina and the skyline. It is not a nightclub in the usual sense: it is a pool club by day that, on some evenings, becomes a party with DJs. That is why, when people ask what it is like, the honest answer is “it depends on the time of day”.

By day: pools, sunbeds and food

During the season Cósmico opened daily from midday (July and August 2026). The website offers three ways to spend the day by the pool: a standard sunbed, a cabana for shade and groups, and a premium sunbed “designed for two” with front-row views. The kitchen is all-day, with Japanese and pan-Asian influences designed for sharing, from sushi to bowls, alongside cocktails, smoothies and champagne. We have no published prices for 2026 that we can quote.

By night: the 2026 parties

The website says its evening programme changes: some nights are relaxed early-evening tardeos, others bring DJs and local collectives. In 2026 the Instagram timeline shows what that meant in practice:

• 2 June: opening of the season.
• 20 June: the first “Cosmic Affairs” party, during the OFF BCN Week around Sónar.
• 23 June: Sant Joan, with dinner and a DJ until midnight.
• 12–13 August: a White Party and a party for the eclipse on 12 August.
• 5 September: “Taste of SLS”, from 20:15 to 23:00, the last dated event of the season.

Notice the hours: several of these events ended around midnight or earlier. Cósmico is a sunset and early-night plan, the kind of place you go before a club rather than instead of one.

When does it come back?

There is no 2027 date yet. As a pattern only, in 2026 it announced its opening on 20 May and opened on 2 June, so the next season will most likely be announced in late spring. Until then, if you want a party by the sea in Barcelona this autumn, SeaSeaClub, also at Port Fòrum, was still holding electronic parties at weekends in October 2026, and Tibu-Ron in Castelldefels had free parties on Fridays and Saturdays.

Age and dress

Cósmico does not publish a minimum age or a dress code on its website or in what we could read of its Instagram. Check both when you book. If you want us to let you know when it announces 2027, or you are planning a group day for next summer, message us on WhatsApp.

Other summer rooftops and pool parties

Cósmico was one of several seasonal spots that closed after the summer. The Wet Deck Summer Series, at the W Barcelona, ran on Sundays from 19:00 to midnight from 14 June to 30 August 2026, and Purobeach, at the Hilton Diagonal Mar, closed its season around 19 October. In autumn 2026 we have not found a rooftop with regular club nights in Barcelona; the seaside party that carries on is SeaSeaClub, also at Port Fòrum, which has its own rooftop for sunset events.
