How to Get to Shôko Barcelona
The address is Passeig Marítim de la Barceloneta 36, 08005 Barcelona, next to Opium on the promenade by the Port Olímpic. The metro runs all night from Saturday to Sunday; the NitBus covers the rest of the week from 22:30 to 06:00.
Dress Code & Entry Requirements
Shôko doesn't publish a dress code on its website, so go dressed for a night out rather than straight from the beach. Sales listings gave 18 as the minimum age in October 2026: bring your ID or passport.
Restaurant by day, club by night
Shôko has been on the Passeig Marítim de la Barceloneta since 2004, according to its website, next to Opium in the row of seafront clubs by the Port Olímpic. It works as two things on the same site: a Mediterranean-Asian restaurant with a chill-out area and a terrace facing the sea, and a club at night. Its bio says it opens every day from 10:00 to 06:00 and calls itself the “7th World's Best Club”; its website lists The World's 100 Best Clubs among its 2025 awards. Time Out puts the club at up to 500 people and lists hip-hop, trap, drill, reggaeton and R&B; sales listings sum it up as reggaeton, urban and commercial hits. With 131,000 Instagram followers it is one of the best-known names on the waterfront.
A party for every night of the week
In October 2026 Shôko's website had a fixed name for each night: “Fucking Monday” on Monday, “Kiss Kiss Bang Bang” on Tuesday, “Pop That Party” on Wednesday, “La Residencia” on Thursday, “The Room” on Friday, “Pure Shôko” on Saturday and “Level Up” on Sunday. It also books urban artists for live shows: the bio announced Jon Z on 29 October and J Quiles on 5 November 2026, and on Saturday 31 October the website listed a reggaeton old school “tardeo”. Entry started from €15 and went up to about €25 in October 2026 (sales listings, orientative). Shôko sells tickets on its own website; if you'd rather sort the night with someone who knows the whole seafront, message us on WhatsApp with the date and how many you are.
VIP tables, age and getting there
VIP tables at Shôko are booked by WhatsApp, and the price depends on the night, the area and the bottles; we'll quote it for your date before you decide anything. The minimum age was 18 in sales listings for October 2026, and Catalan law keeps under-16s out of clubs in any case, so bring ID. The club doesn't publish a dress code, so go dressed for a night out. The address is Passeig Marítim de la Barceloneta 36, 08005 Barcelona. Under Ordre INT/358/2011 clubs can open until 05:00, or 06:00 on Fridays, Saturdays and the eve of a public holiday, which fits the 06:00 in its bio. On Saturday night the metro runs non-stop; the rest of the week, the NitBus runs from 22:30 to 06:00 every 20 minutes.
