Barcelona Nightlife Monday to Thursday: Where to Go Out on Weeknights

· Updated:

You can go out in Barcelona any night of the week. The seafront clubs Opium, Ku and Shôko open every day, Moog, Jamboree, Macarena, Marula, City Hall and the LGBTQ+ clubs Arena Experience and Believe open every night in the centre, and from Wednesday the Zona Alta wakes up. Below is what each club had on, night by night, in the week of 21 October 2026. Party names change every week; the pattern of who opens when is what holds.

Every night: the clubs that never close

A handful of clubs say they open every night of the year. On the seafront, Opium ('open every day'), Ku ('Monday to Sunday') and Shôko ('every day, 10am–6am', counting its beach restaurant). In the old town, Moog does techno '365 nights a year' on Carrer de l'Arc del Teatre, Jamboree on Plaça Reial opens 365 days with live jazz and then a club, Macarena Club is open every night, and Marula Café says it opens every day. City Hall, by Plaça de Catalunya, also claims 365 days. In the Gaixample and around Urquinaona, Arena Experience opens every night from 00:30, and Believe, the drag club on Carrer de Balmes, has shows every night, from 23:00 to 05:00 from Sunday to Thursday.

Monday

Monday is a seafront night. Opium runs 'Monday Madness', Ku's Monday party plays reggaeton, afrobeat, hip-hop and R&B according to its website, and Shôko's Monday has its own name in its bio. In the centre, City Hall holds a reggaeton and hits night on Mondays, and Jamboree, Moog and Macarena are open as every night. Monday is also one of the nights when international and student groups go to the seafront clubs, so expect a young, mixed crowd.

Tuesday

Tuesday is the quietest night. Colors Club, at La Rambla 33, is the one that starts its week on Tuesday (it opens Tuesday to Saturday), and the every-night clubs above keep going. Outside the city, Lennon's in L'Hospitalet opens from Tuesday to Saturday, according to Time Out.

Closing time on weeknights

Catalonia's Order INT/358/2011 lets clubs open from 17:00 to 05:00, and until 06:00 on Fridays, Saturdays and nights before public holidays. So from Sunday to Thursday the legal limit is 05:00, unless the next day is a holiday: in 2026, Monday 7 December is the night before the 8th, a public holiday in Catalonia. Each club sets its own closing within that limit. Our closing times guide explains the rule, including summer and Christmas extensions.

What time clubs close in Barcelona

Getting home on a weeknight

This is the catch with weeknights: the Metro stops at midnight from Sunday to Thursday (TMB), long before any club closes. NitBus night buses run every night from 22:30 to 06:00, every 20 minutes, and almost every line passes through Plaça de Catalunya (AMB); line N24 also reaches the Barceloneta and the W hotel. Our night transport guide has every option.

What time do clubs close on weeknights?

Under Order INT/358/2011 clubs can open until 05:00 from Sunday to Thursday and until 06:00 on Fridays, Saturdays and nights before public holidays. Each club sets its own time within that.
