Enjoy Sala VOL

Sala VOL is a gig venue at Carrer de Sancho d'Àvila 78, in Poblenou, Barcelona, Spain, run by the cooperative L'Afluent. Its programme looks for music outside the commercial circuit: punk, indie, rock, rap and urban acts, plus the odd DJ night or karaoke. Most shows start between 18:30 and 20:30, and in October and November 2026 tickets cost from €3.50 to €40. Time Out (October 2026) describes it as a venue with its own identity and a strong DIY spirit.

VIP Tables at Sala VOL
VOL sells every show on its own website. If you want to go with friends or ask what's on a given night, message us on WhatsApp with the date and how many you are.
How to Get to Sala VOL
The address is Carrer de Sancho d'Àvila 78, 08018 Barcelona, in Poblenou. Shows start early, so you'll usually leave before the metro closes (00:00 Monday to Thursday, 02:00 on Friday, all night on Saturday); after that, the NitBus runs from 22:30 to 06:00.
Dress Code & Entry Requirements
VOL doesn't publish a dress code. It has a policy for minors, with an authorisation document for under-16s, who in Catalonia can only go to live shows with their parents or guardians.
A cooperative gig venue in Poblenou
VOL is a gig venue run by the cooperative L'Afluent, at Carrer de Sancho d'Àvila 78 in Poblenou (its Instagram bio says it plainly: a project of L'Afluent). Its website explains that the artistic direction always looks for music outside the most commercial circuit, and Time Out (15 October 2026) describes it as a venue with its own identity and a marked DIY spirit, with punk, indie and urban music. It celebrated its 8th anniversary on 4 and 5 September 2026. VOL isn't a late-night club: shows usually start between 18:30 and 20:30, and there are occasional DJ nights and electronic sessions. If you want a night of new bands in Poblenou before heading on to a club, this is a good place to start.
What's on, October and November 2026
The October 2026 agenda gives the flavour: Abundance Radar on 7 October (€3.50 with a drink), Yung Rajola on 16 October, Mourn in the Directes Estrella Damm 150 series on 22 October, The Lizards with Spitfire Scream on 24 October and Dogteeth, Woodchuck and TYLD on 30 October. November brought Deep Forest (4 November, €34.50 to €40), Edna Bravo (6 November), Apartamentos Acapulco (14 November), Nepal Nepal (21 November) and the Michel Cloup Trio (24 November). Its own posts promised Chinese rap, Galician DIY folk and plenty of local acts for October. Most tickets cost between €10 and €18, with a lower and a higher price shown on each listing. In early October it also had a folk night with My Name is Nobody and Defensa Lenta, and the Chinese rapper Jackzebra, brought by the promoter Oval.
Tickets, minors and getting there
VOL sells every show on its own website, with the price on each listing. It doesn't publish a dress code. It does publish a minors policy, with an authorisation document for under-16s; under Catalan rules, under-16s can only go to live shows with their parents or guardians and must leave when the show ends. For tickets for a group or to know what's on a given night, message us on WhatsApp with the date and how many you are. The venue is at Carrer de Sancho d'Àvila 78, 08018 Barcelona. Because shows start early, you'll usually be out before the metro closes: at midnight from Monday to Thursday, at 02:00 on Friday and never on Saturday night. After that, the NitBus runs until 06:00.
