How to Get to Sala Salamandra
Salamandra is at Av. del Carrilet 235. Time Out gives Avinguda Carrilet station (FGC) as the nearest stop, and line 1 of the metro also stops there; the metro runs all night on Saturdays.
Dress Code & Entry Requirements
Salamandra doesn't publish a dress code. Club nights are 18+ and concerts 16+, according to a directory listing from April 2026. Bring ID.
A concert venue and club since 1996
Salamandra has been part of the nightlife of L'Hospitalet since 1996. NacióDigital told its story on its 20th anniversary: the founders opened on 21 June, just before Sant Joan, and wanted a club different from the discos of the time, where you had to wear proper shoes to get in. The programming grew around two ideas, mestizo music and indie, and over the years the stage hosted names such as Manu Chao, Estopa, Raimundo Amador and Ojos de Brujo. Time Out describes it as a 500-person venue-cum-nightclub with a local crowd, cheap drinks and DJs after the gigs, and it hosts the Let's Festival of indie music each spring. Today it still mixes concerts with club nights at the weekend.
CUB, ZOCO and Sunday salsa
The club nights at Salamandra have names. CUB is the reggaeton night; ZOCO is for throwback hits that everyone can sing along to, the better option if you're feeling nostalgic, as one directory listing from April 2026 puts it. That same listing gives an age of 18 for the club nights and 16 for concerts, and says the box office opens at 00:30. On Sundays the room changes completely: a salsa, bachata and timba session takes over every week, with its own Instagram account and advance tickets; its last recap was from Sunday 18 October 2026. If you dance salsa, it's one of the few fixed Sunday options in the area. Message us on WhatsApp for the date and we'll tell you what's on.
Getting there and getting in
Salamandra is at Av. del Carrilet 235, in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, the city that borders Barcelona to the south-west. Time Out names Avinguda Carrilet station, on the FGC line, as the nearest stop; line 1 of the metro also stops there. On Saturday nights the metro runs without a break, so getting back to Barcelona is easy; on other nights the NitBus fills the gap, every 20 minutes from 22:30 to 06:00. Tickets are sold on the venue's own channels and at the box office. We don't sell them in a store of ours: message us on WhatsApp with the night, CUB, ZOCO, a concert or the Sunday session, and how many you are, and we'll help you sort it out.
