Latin Clubs in Barcelona: Salsa, Bachata and Latin Nights
· Updated:
If you want salsa and bachata in Barcelona, start with Antilla, at Carrer d'Alcolea 100: it has been a salsa club for more than 30 years by its own count and opens from Friday to Sunday. Beyond that, the Latin scene is spread out: a salsa and bachata room at Titus in Badalona on Saturdays, Latin music mixed with reggaeton at La Fira Villarroel, and a Sunday session in L'Hospitalet. This guide only lists what showed 2026 activity when we checked on 21 October 2026, and says clearly which names on Google have gone quiet.

Days and hours are what each venue published in October 2026 (bios, websites and event listings). Where we say 'directory', the music comes from a business listing, not from the venue, so treat it as a guide.
Antilla: the salsa club on Carrer d'Alcolea
Antilla Barcelona is at Carrer d'Alcolea 100 (postcode 08014) and its Instagram bio sums it up: 'Salsa, Bachata y Timba · More than 30 years · Friday to Sunday'. Its website talks about Cuban salsa, bachata, drinks and a good atmosphere, describes the weekend as 'Friday night and Sunday afternoon', and links to its own school with salsa, bachata and styling classes. The cloakroom is free, according to the site. On Sunday 25 October 2026 the session ran from 18:00 to 23:00, and on Friday 23 October the club posted that it would be closed, so check the week before you go. Neither the website nor the bio publishes an age rule or a price.

Titus in Badalona: a salsa and bachata room on Saturdays
Titus Carpa, on the Carretera de MatarĂł at km 629 in Badalona, splits its Saturday in two: an afternoon session called El Perkal and then the night, with commercial music in the main room and a separate salsa and bachata room, according to its Instagram bio. It is the easiest way to mix a mainstream club night with Latin dancing without changing venue. On Fridays the party is Nits al Temple, which the club labels 16+, so expect a younger crowd that night. It is outside Barcelona proper, so plan the way back: our guide to clubs in the metropolitan area covers Badalona, L'Hospitalet and CornellĂ .

La Fira Villarroel and Bikini: Latin music in a club night
La Fira Villarroel, at Carrer de Villarroel 216 in the Eixample, opens on Fridays and Saturdays from midnight to 05:30, according to its bio, and a business directory lists its music as reggaeton, bachata and salsa. It is a club night first, not a dance hall, but bachata is part of the mix. Sala Bikini, under L'Illa Diagonal at Avinguda Diagonal 547, is a club and concert venue; the same directory places salsa and bachata on Saturdays alongside commercial pop and melodic techno. Ask us before you go, because Bikini's club nights change names and line-ups.

Sunday salsa in L'Hospitalet
On Sundays, Sala Salamandra, at Avinguda del Carrilet 235 in L'Hospitalet, hosts a salsa, bachata and timba session with its own Instagram account, a good plan for the last night of the weekend.
Brazilian nights, live Latin music and the Gòtic
For something closer to Brazil, Luz de Gas, at Carrer de Muntaner 246, had a Thursday night called 'Mimus Samba' in its October 2026 listings. Marula Café, on Carrer dels Escudellers in the Gothic Quarter, lists Latin and world music next to funk, soul and afrobeat and says it opens every day. La Paloma, the dance hall from 1903 on Carrer del Tigre, includes salsa in its programme alongside concerts, DJs and jazz. We found no Argentinian party with a 2026 source, so we don't list one.

Latin clubs that still show up on Google
- Latin Palace: its Instagram bio says it is 'on a short break' and its last post is from 1 May 2026.
- Mojito Club (Carrer de RossellĂł): only a dance school appears at that address, with an Instagram that stopped in October 2023.
- D'Rumba, Illusion and Bachata Dance Club: only directory listings, no 2026 activity we could verify.
- Candy: its Instagram has had no posts since November 2020.
If you are learning, the city also has dance schools that run their own socials; one of them, Dio Club, posts them on its Instagram. They are classes with a party afterwards, not nightclubs, so we don't list them as venues.
Age, closing time and reggaeton
Catalan law keeps under-16s out of clubs, dance halls and music bars (Decree 112/2010, art. 53) and lets each venue set stricter rules; our guide to age limits explains the details. Clubs and dance halls can open until 05:00, or 06:00 on Fridays, Saturdays and nights before a public holiday, under Order INT/358/2011. And if what you want is reggaeton rather than salsa, there is a separate guide for that.

Where can you dance salsa in Barcelona?
The reference is Antilla, at Carrer d'Alcolea 100, a salsa club that says it has been going for more than 30 years, with salsa, bachata and timba from Friday to Sunday. Titus in Badalona has a salsa and bachata room on Saturday nights, and Sala Salamandra in L'Hospitalet runs a Sunday salsa, bachata and timba session.
Where is there bachata tonight?
It depends on the day. On Fridays and Saturdays Antilla and La Fira Villarroel (which a directory lists with reggaeton, bachata and salsa) are open; on Saturdays, Titus; on Sundays, Antilla's afternoon session and Salamandra. From Monday to Thursday we found no Latin dance night with a 2026 source.
Do you need to know how to dance?
No. Antilla's website advertises salsa, bachata and styling classes through its own dance school, and other dance schools in the city run socials. On a club night like Titus or La Fira nobody checks your steps.
What happened to Latin Palace, Mojito Club or D'Rumba?
Latin Palace's Instagram says it is 'on a short break' and its last post is from 1 May 2026. Mojito Club only appears as a dance school whose Instagram stopped in 2023. D'Rumba, Illusion and Bachata Dance Club only appear in directories, with no 2026 activity we could verify.
How old do you have to be?
In Catalonia under-16s cannot enter clubs or dance halls (Decree 112/2010, art. 53), and each venue can ask for more. Titus's Friday party is 16+; most Latin nights don't publish their age rule, so take ID.
