Reggaeton Clubs in Barcelona: Where to Go Each Night

· Updated:

Reggaeton plays in almost every commercial club in Barcelona, Spain, but each area does it its own way: on the seafront it leads at ShĂ´ko and on Ku's Monday Vibra night, in the Zona Alta it shares the room with house at Sutton, Bling Bling and Otto Zutz, and in the centre City Hall and Colors mix it with hits, according to the clubs' own descriptions and listings in October 2026.

Barcelona doesn't really have reggaeton-only clubs the way some cities do: the music sits inside a commercial mix of hits, house and urban sounds. What changes is the weight it has, the crowd and the price. This guide sorts the clubs by area, tells you which night reggaeton takes over and what each door asks for. If you want salsa and bachata instead, that's our Latin clubs guide.

The seafront: ShĂ´ko, Ku and Opium

The three big seafront clubs on the Passeig Marítim are the most followed in town on Instagram (Opium 138,000, Ku 136,000 and Shôko 131,000 on 21 October 2026), and they open every day. Shôko is where urban music leads: Time Out describes hip-hop, trap, drill, reggaeton and R&B, with room for up to 500 people in the club area, and its bio calls it the 7th best club in the world. Ku's Monday Vibra is billed with reggaeton, afrobeat, hip-hop and R&B. Opium is more of a mix of house, EDM and urban music; on Mondays it runs Monday Madness. Tickets on 21 October started at €15 at Opium and ranged from €15 to €25 at Shôko.

The Zona Alta: Tuset, Aribau and Lincoln

The Zona Alta is where local crowds go for reggaeton, mixed with commercial house. Sutton, on Carrer de Tuset, sells itself with commercial hits, vocal house and reggaeton chic and opens Wednesday to Saturday. On the same street, Bling Bling holds 1,200 people according to Time Out and mixes house, urban music and reggaeton from 00:30. Otto Zutz, on Carrer de Lincoln since 1985, is the clearest about it: its website lists a room for hits and reggaeton and another for house, perreo and old-school reggaeton. La Biblio and Costa Breve add commercial music and reggaeton at lower prices; Costa Breve's Fridays and Saturdays are 21+.

Eixample and Les Corts: Twenties, Downtown and La Fira

Twenties, on Carrer del RossellĂł, plays reggaeton, hits and commercial house from Thursday to Saturday. Downtown, near the Diagonal in Les Corts, calls itself the biggest club in town and runs reggaeton, top hits and commercial house from Thursday, closing at 06:00 on Saturdays. The two La Fira clubs, on Carrer de Casanova and Carrer de Villarroel, open on Friday and Saturday from midnight to 05:30: Casanova leans to reggaeton, urban and trap, and Villarroel mixes reggaeton with bachata and salsa, which makes it the bridge to the Latin clubs.

The centre: City Hall, Colors and the concert halls

In the centre, City Hall, at the top of Rambla de Catalunya, has a hits room next to its techno room and on Monday 26 October 2026 ran Monday Perreo & Hits. Colors Club, at La Rambla 33, calls itself an international club and opens Tuesday to Saturday with reggaeton, commercial and electronic music. Two concert venues also have reggaeton nights: Sala Apolo in Poble-sec, where Time Out lists trap and reggaeton among its sounds, and Upload in the Poble Espanyol, with its La Bellaquera sessions.

Outside the city: L'Hospitalet, CornellĂ  and Badalona

The metropolitan area has its own reggaeton circuit, cheaper and with a local crowd. Sala Salamandra in L'Hospitalet has CUB, a perreo night. Malalts de Festa in CornellĂ  plays old-school reggaeton and dembow on Fridays, Saturdays and public holidays (18+). Titus Carpa in Badalona has a commercial night on Saturdays with a separate salsa and bachata room.

Age and dress code

Catalan law keeps under-16s out of clubs, and almost every reggaeton club sets 18+ on top, with an original ID; Costa Breve goes to 21+ on Fridays and Saturdays. The dress code is stricter on the seafront and in the Zona Alta: Opium asks for smart clothes and doesn't allow sportswear or very casual or athletic shoes, Twenties limits entry in sportswear and trainers, and Otto Zutz asks you to look after your image. In the centre and the metropolitan area the doors are more relaxed, but a football shirt is a bad idea almost anywhere.
