Where is Antilla now?

Fridays are at Carrer d'Alcolea 100. From Sunday 18 October 2026 the Sunday session moved to Merecumbé Discoteca, Carrer de Viladomat 211, according to Antilla's Instagram.

How much is entry at Antilla?

On Sundays in October 2026 entry was free with a compulsory drink. On Fridays entry includes one drink; the price isn't published in the posts.

Are there dance classes at Antilla?

Salsa, bachata and timba for 30 years

Antilla is a salsa club with a long history in Barcelona. Its Instagram bio sums it up as salsa, bachata and timba with more than 30 years of shared nights, and its website adds Cuban salsa, drinks, a free cloakroom and a dance school of its own, Antilla Escuela de Salsa, with classes in salsa, bachata and styling. Friday is the night session. A mid-October 2026 post set it from 22:00 to 05:00 at Carrer d'Alcolea 100, with entry including one drink and the resident DJ Manel on the decks. The club warned that it would be closed on Friday 23 October 2026, so check before going on a given Friday. The bio says Friday to Sunday, but the posts and website from October 2026 only mention Fridays and Sundays. If you're visiting and want a real salsa night rather than a reggaeton club, message us on WhatsApp and we'll confirm what's on.

Sunday afternoons, now on Viladomat

Sunday is Antilla's afternoon session, and it has just moved. In a post on 14 October 2026 the club announced that from Sunday 18 October the Sunday party would take place at Merecumbé Discoteca, Carrer de Viladomat 211, with the same atmosphere, from 18:00 to 23:00. The format starts with free workshops: in the first week, bachata and salsa at 18:00 and 18:30; on Sunday 25 October a Salsa Fusion workshop from 18:00 to 19:00, then DJ Manel and the club's dance hosts. Entry on Sundays was free with a compulsory drink. It's a friendly way in if you can't dance yet: you take the class, stay for the social and are home by midnight. Because the address changed so recently, map apps and directories may still show Alcolea for Sundays. Message us on WhatsApp and we'll confirm where that week's session is.

Tables, age and getting there

Antilla's website lists a phone and WhatsApp line for VIP table bookings, but no prices, and its tickets for special nights go through a ticketing site linked from its Instagram. We don't sell Antilla tickets from a shop of our own: send us a WhatsApp with the date, the session (Friday or Sunday) and how many you are, and we'll find out the best option. Antilla doesn't publish a dress code or minimum age; at a salsa club the rule that matters is comfortable shoes you can turn in. Catalan rules keep under-16s out of dance halls unless they come to a live show with a parent, so bring ID. Friday nights are at Carrer d'Alcolea 100, postcode 08014. Sunday sessions, since 18 October 2026, are at Carrer de Viladomat 211. The metro stops at 02:00 on Friday nights, so after a Friday you'll need the NitBus or a taxi; on Sunday the session ends at 23:00, before the metro closes.
