Time Out says there's no dress code and no selective door policy. Bring ID all the same.
A Gràcia classic with two floors
Almodobar is a neighbourhood club in Gràcia. Its group website describes it as a Gràcia landmark, and Time Out, in its 15 October 2026 list of the best clubs in Barcelona, calls it an absolute classic of the neighbourhood that has been making nights for more than 20 years. The building has two very different floors. Downstairs there's a dance floor with a bar and a DJ booth, playing Spanish and international pop-rock, house, funk and the odd '90s anthem. Upstairs there's a karaoke room with a mini-stage, which Time Out describes as karaoke with a community spirit and a catalogue of more than 1,500 songs in Catalan, Spanish and English. In January 2026 the club threw a party for its 30th anniversary. If you want a night where singing badly is part of the plan, this is it; ask us on WhatsApp before you go.
Hours, entry and New Year's Eve
Almodobar's website gives Thursday from 23:00 to 05:00 and Friday and Saturday from 23:00 to 06:00; Time Out lists the same hours. Take them as orientative, because the club barely posts on Instagram: its last post is the invitation to its 30th-anniversary party on Friday 23 January 2026. Entry works the old-fashioned way. For New Year's Eve 2025 the club sold entry only at the door on the night, at €25 with a drink and party favours, with no advance tickets or reservations, and opened at 01:00. Prices for a normal night aren't published, and Time Out mentions only the usual beers, mixed drinks and cocktails. We don't sell Almodobar entry: if you're thinking of going with a group, message us on WhatsApp and we'll tell you what we know about that night and the alternatives nearby in Gràcia.
Getting there and the door
Almodobar is at Carrer d'en Grassot 36, in Gràcia. Time Out gives Joanic on line L4 and Verdaguer on lines L4 and L5 as the nearest metro stations. On Saturday nights the metro runs all night; on Thursdays it closes at midnight and on Fridays at 02:00, so after those nights the NitBus or a taxi is the way back. Time Out says there's no dress code and no selective door, which makes it an easy option for a mixed group or for people who don't want to dress up. The group behind it also runs Almo2bar, a one-room club at Carrer de Bruniquer 59, by Plaça de Joanic, with concerts and music from the '80s to now. Catalan rules keep under-16s out of clubs and music bars except for live shows with a parent or guardian, so bring ID even if nobody asks.
