What Almodobar Is Like: Dance Floor and Karaoke on Carrer de Grassot, Gràcia

Almodobar is a neighbourhood club at Carrer de Grassot 36, in Barcelona's Gràcia district, with a dance floor of Spanish and international pop-rock, house and funk and a karaoke upstairs. Its website gives Thursday from 23:00 to 05:00 and Friday and Saturday from 23:00 to 06:00.

Gràcia is a neighbourhood of squares, bars and small venues rather than big clubs, and Almodobar is one of the few places there where you can dance until late. Time Out included it in its list of the city's best clubs in October 2026 and described it as a neighbourhood club with a dance floor and karaoke upstairs. That split is the point of the place: downstairs you dance to pop-rock, house, funk and 90s hits; upstairs you sing, with cocktails. Its website says it has been 'livening up Gràcia's nights for more than 20 years', and in January 2026 it threw a party for its 30th anniversary.

Hours and music

Almodobar opens three nights: Thursday from 23:00 to 05:00 and Friday and Saturday from 23:00 to 06:00, according to its website. Those hours match the Catalan rule for nightclubs, 5am on weeknights and 6am on Fridays, Saturdays and nights before a holiday (Order INT/358/2011). The music is the kind that gets a mixed group dancing: Spanish and international pop-rock, house and funk, with plenty of 90s. It's not a techno club or a reggaeton club, and that's why people choose it.

Almodobar and Almo2bar

The same website covers a second venue, Almo2bar, at Carrer de Bruniquer 59, by Plaça de Joanic, also in Gràcia. It keeps the same hours and plays music from the 80s, the 90s and today, with a regular programme of pop, rock, soul and funk bands. If one is full, the other is a short walk away.

Entry, age and what we know for sure

Almodobar's Instagram has barely moved in 2026: the last post is from January. That's why everything here comes from its website and from Time Out's October 2026 list. It doesn't publish a standard price or a minimum age. As a reference, for New Year's Eve 2025 it charged €25 with a drink and party favours, sold only at the door on the night, opening at 1am. Catalan law keeps under-16s out of nightclubs (Decree 112/2010, art. 53) and each venue can set a higher age, so bring ID. Before you go, ask us on WhatsApp and we'll check it's open that night.

Getting home from Gràcia

The metro runs until 2am on Friday nights and all night on Saturdays, and closes around midnight on Thursdays. Night buses run every 20 minutes from 22:30 to 06:00, and most lines pass through Plaça de Catalunya (TMB, AMB).

Who it's for

Almodobar suits groups who start with drinks in Gràcia and want to carry on dancing without leaving the neighbourhood, mixed-age groups, and anyone who's been waiting all night to sing.
