Enjoy Jamboree

Jamboree is a jazz club and nightclub at Plaça Reial 17, in the Gòtic quarter of Barcelona, Spain. It opened in 1960 with a quintet led by pianist Tete Montoliu, according to Time Out, and it still runs two lives a night: jazz, soul and funk concerts in the evening, then a club session from around midnight. Its Instagram says it is open 365 days a year.

How to Get to Jamboree
Jamboree is on Plaça Reial, just off La Rambla. Plaça de Catalunya, where most NitBus lines stop, is a walk up the Rambla, and on Saturday nights the metro runs all night.
Dress Code & Entry Requirements
Club nights are +18, according to a club listing checked in October 2026. Jamboree doesn't publish a dress code. Bring ID.
Jazz first, club after midnight
Jamboree has been on Plaça Reial since 1960, when, as Time Out tells it, a quintet led by the pianist Tete Montoliu opened the place. Its Instagram calls it the most legendary music club in Barcelona and says it opens 365 days a year. The evening belongs to live music. The October 2026 programme on its website had two passes a night, usually at 19:00 and 20:30, across Sala 1 and Sala 3, with tickets from €18 to €25, and several shows had already sold out. In autumn 2026 Jamboree also joined the 60th Barcelona Jazz Festival, and its October programme included soul and gospel with Michelle David & True Tones. Then, around midnight, the club starts. If you want a concert and a night out in the same building, tell us the date on WhatsApp and we'll help you plan it.
The club: two rooms, every night
Once the concerts end, Jamboree turns into a club with two rooms. Time Out describes them as one room of urban music, R&B, dancehall and trap and another of pop and all-time hits, which covers most tastes in a small space. A club listing checked in October 2026 had a Wednesday session on the 21st with a resident DJ, from 23:59 to 05:00, with entry from €12 and a price range of €12 to €15, and set the age at 18. The club appears in October 2026 student guest-list agendas on Mondays, Wednesdays and Sundays, which tells you it's busy early in the week too. The "jamboree barcelona guest list" search is common for a reason: getting on a list is often the easiest way in. Message us on WhatsApp with the night and we'll tell you whether the list or a ticket works better.
Getting there and the door
Jamboree is at Plaça Reial 17, postcode 08002, on the square just off La Rambla. Plaça Reial lost two of its clubs in 2026, Karma and Sidecar, and Jamboree carries on, with the Ocaña bar on the same square. Getting home is easy from here: Plaça de Catalunya, where nearly every NitBus line meets, is a walk up the Rambla, the night buses run every 20 minutes from 22:30 to 06:00, and on Saturday nights the metro runs all night. On Fridays the metro closes at 02:00 and from Sunday to Thursday at midnight. Jamboree doesn't publish a dress code. Its club nights are +18, and as everywhere in Barcelona the door keeps the right of admission, so bring a valid ID. Plaça Reial is crowded at night, so keep an eye on your phone.
