From Pacha to Ku
Lots of people still type 'Pacha Barcelona' into Google, and they end up here. In September 2025 the club on the Port Olímpic seafront that had run for years as a Pacha franchise dropped the brand and reopened as Ku Barcelona: Time Out reported that Ku was landing 'in the venue where Pacha Barcelona used to be', and the news agency story carried by Qué! explained that the decision to leave the Pacha brand was about building an identity of its own. The name is a nod to the original Ku in Ibiza, and the club's website sums it up as 'born in Ibiza, reborn in Barcelona', placing the original in 'the endless nights of the 80s'; it doesn't mention Pacha at all. One practical detail: the club's website gives the address as Passeig de la Barceloneta 38, Time Out as Passeig Marítim de la Barceloneta 38, and Google lists C. Ramon Trias Fargas 2. All three point to the same corner of the Port Olímpic.

The nights and the music
The Instagram bio says 'Open from Monday to Sunday', and the ticket agenda for the week of 21 October 2026 shows how varied it is. Monday is 'Vibra' in the Main Room with reggaeton, afrobeat, hip-hop and R&B. Wednesday is 'Guaya Project' from 23:45 to 05:00, Thursday 'BAE', Friday 'Ku Fridays' until 05:45 and Saturday 'Blavicio'. Sunday is the electronic night: on 25 October 2026 a Kaluki x SIGHT party with Lee Foss, Pirate Copy, Seb Zito and Tatan Bilbao. Guest-list agendas also send people here on Sundays for house and techno, free before 01:00. In short, Ku is commercial and urban during the week and goes electronic on Sundays.
Age, dress code and door
Ku's parties are listed as 18+, so bring photo ID. The club doesn't publish a written dress code, so go by the seafront standard: smart, no sportswear, no flip-flops. Arriving early matters on special nights: for Halloween 2026 (29 to 31 October, 18+) the guest-list access ran only until 02:30, with entry from €10 on Thursday and €20 with a drink on Friday and Saturday.
