Tibu-Ron Beach Club: Castelldefels' Free Weekend Party by the Sea

Tibu-Ron Beach Club is a beach restaurant on the seafront of Castelldefels, south of Barcelona, Spain, that turns into a party on Friday and Saturday nights from 23:30, and it stays open all year: in October 2026 both nights were free entry.

Restaurant by day, party by night

Tibu-Ron sits at Carrer Ribera de Sant Pere 15, on the Castelldefels promenade, with a wooden terrace built over the sand. A July 2026 nightlife guide describes formal restaurant service by day, with fresh local fish, fideuà and paella, and a nightclub atmosphere once the evening comes, with DJ sessions and live music. The bar is a tropical cocktail bar serving signature cocktails and mixed drinks, and its best-known drink is the “Mojito Tibu-Ron”. The same article notes the club has been recognised for sustainable tourism, with beach clean-ups and the removal of single-use plastics.

The weekend parties

The night is the reason most people search for Tibu-Ron. On 13 October it announced on Instagram that it was coming back “with two great plans with free entry”, and on 20 October it confirmed the weekend: “Las Noches de Tibu-Ron” on Friday 23 October from 23:30 and “La Mordida” on Saturday 24 October at 23:30, both with “ENTRADA GRATUITA”. The music, judging by its posts, is commercial party anthems rather than a specific genre. There is no ticket and no guest list for these nights: you just turn up. Its Instagram account, with more than 24,000 followers, is where the weekend plans appear: in October it announced Friday's and Saturday's parties on the Tuesday before, so check it midweek.

Halloween: Blood Moon

For 31 October, Tibu-Ron has announced “Blood Moon”, with “100% free access. No lists, no tickets.” It is one of the few free Halloween parties by the sea we have found announced around Barcelona this year, so expect it to fill up: arrive early if you want a spot on the terrace.

Age, groups and getting back to Barcelona

The venue does not publish a minimum age for its parties; under-16s cannot enter clubs or music bars in Catalonia, so bring ID. Outside party nights, Tibu-Ron also takes bookings for company and Christmas meals, according to its Instagram bio. Castelldefels is outside Barcelona and the party starts late, so think about the way back: according to night bus directories, NitBus line N16 runs between Plaça de Catalunya and Castelldefels, and the NitBus network runs every 20 minutes until 6am. Tibu-Ron and the rest of the coast this autumn

In autumn most seafront spots around Barcelona have closed or slowed down. Purobeach, at the Hilton Diagonal Mar, said goodbye until next season on 19 October 2026, and the city's beach bars ended their season on 4 October, according to a local guide. In Castelldefels, Casanova Beach Club, also on the promenade, was advertising dinners with live DJs on Fridays and Saturdays in October, but not a club night. That leaves Tibu-Ron as one of the few places on the coast with a proper weekend party, alongside SeaSeaClub at Port Fòrum, which runs ticketed electronic parties. A typical plan is dinner at the restaurant first and then staying on when the party starts at 23:30; for a group, book the table in advance.
