Bastian Beach Barcelona: Pool, Restaurant and Beach Club in Barceloneta

Bastian Beach is a daytime beach club inside the Club Natació Barcelona, facing Sant Sebastià beach in Barceloneta, Barcelona, Spain, with pools, a restaurant and a wellness club open to non-members; it was open in October 2026, but it does not run a regular club night.

What Bastian Beach is

Bastian Beach opened in 2024 in the renovated facilities of the Club Natació Barcelona, the swimming club at the end of Barceloneta. According to Time Out, it was a project of around €15 million, with some 5,000 m², pools, a 360° rooftop and access for people who are not club members. Time Out's 2024 piece, written in collaboration with the venue, gives the address as Passeig del Mare Nostrum 14, facing Sant Sebastià beach, and talks about infinity pools and a menu built around seafood, from oysters to Delta rice. Its Instagram bio sums up the mood in four words: “The Joy of Liberation”.

Is there a club night?

This is the key point for anyone searching for Barcelona beach clubs to party at. In 2024 Bastian was presented as a beach club by day and a club with DJs by night, but in 2026 we have not found a regular club night with dates: what it programmes is a pool day, restaurant service, wellness sessions and special dinners, such as a themed “ECLIPSE” dinner for Halloween on 31 October 2026. If what you want is to dance by the sea this autumn, look at SeaSeaClub at Port Fòrum or Tibu-Ron in Castelldefels; if you want a pool, a long lunch and a sunset drink, Bastian is the plan.

The pool area: rules and how it works

The pool area, a few metres from the beach, has Balinese beds and cocktail service, and is booked through the website. Its FAQ sets out the rules:

• Age: over 14 only; guests aged 14 to 17 must be with a responsible adult at all times.
• The bed price works as a minimum spend on drinks, shisha and food that same day, with up to 50% usable on food.
• Booked beds are held until 3pm; after that they can be released.
• Paying in advance does not guarantee entry: the venue can refuse anyone who breaks the rules, for example arriving drunk.
• A restaurant booking does not include access to the pool area, which depends on availability.
• Guests are asked to follow a smart dress code.

How much does it cost? The website does not publish the bed price as a figure, and it changes by date, so we will not give you a number: ask before booking.

Restaurant and wellness

The restaurant serves Mediterranean food, from local dishes to international cooking, with tables held for 30 minutes past the booking and two-hour slots. Children are welcome in the restaurant with an adult. The Wellness Club runs yoga, Pilates and brunch sessions, which were on in October 2026. In past seasons the website also had pages for Sant Joan and for watching the 2026 World Cup.

Getting there

Bastian is at the far end of Barceloneta, facing Sant Sebastià beach. At night, the NitBus N24 line runs through Barceloneta to the W. If you want to combine a day at Bastian with a night out at a club, message us on WhatsApp and we will tell you what is on that evening.

If the beach day turns into a night out, the clubs closest in spirit are on the Port Olímpic seafront: Opium, Shôko, CDLC and Ku Barcelona, nightclubs with beach terraces along the Passeig Marítim that open all year.
