La Píkkara: What the Open-Air Club in Barberà del Vallès Is Like

La Píkkara is an open-air club with a climate-controlled indoor space at Avinguda Salvatella 90 in Barberà del Vallès, in the Vallès north of Barcelona, Spain, open every weekend of the year with Friday and Saturday nights from midnight to 6am and tardeos on Saturday and Sunday afternoons.

Open air, but not only in summer

The first thing people ask about La Píkkara is whether it is a summer venue. Its website calls it a “Discoteca Open Air”, but it also says “cada fin de semana” and “todo el año”, every weekend and all year round, and mentions a climate-controlled space. In practice, that means the party carries on in autumn and winter, and the October 2026 agenda was full: a night on Friday 23 October from 00:00 to 06:00, a tardeo called Guatekke on Saturday 24 from 18:00 to 23:00 followed by the Saturday night, and another tardeo on Sunday 25.

The space

La Píkkara shares its site with Masia Can Salvatella, an old Catalan farmhouse, which gives it a very different feel from a city-centre basement. The website lists a VIP area, a shisha area, food to share and DJ sessions, and sells itself on three things: music, food and experiences. The name has a double k; if you search for “la pikara” you will also find other venues with similar names elsewhere in Spain that have nothing to do with this one.

The World's 100 Best Clubs

La Píkkara's Instagram bio reads “#96 The World's 100 Best Clubs”, and its website says it was ranked 96th in the 2025 edition of that international ranking. In April 2026 NacióDigital listed it again among the Catalan clubs nominated for the 2026 edition, where the public vote counts for half of the result and voting is open until 2 November. Take it for what it is: a ranking the club itself is proud of, and a sign that people travel to Barberà for it.

Nights and tardeos

The tardeo is the format that suits La Píkkara best if you are coming from Barcelona: you start in daylight, eat something, dance, and are home at a reasonable hour. The website gives times event by event, so check the specific party.

Age and getting there

The website does not publish a minimum age or a dress code. In Catalonia under-16s cannot enter clubs (Decree 112/2010), and each venue sets its own rule above that for each party, so check the event and bring ID with a photo. La Píkkara is outside Barcelona, and its website only offers map links to the address, so the realistic options are a car with a designated driver, a taxi or sharing a ride with your group. How it compares with other clubs outside Barcelona

If you are choosing between clubs outside the city, the differences are fairly clear. La Píkkara stands out for the setting: open air next to a masia, with a VIP area and shisha. Titus, in Badalona, splits Saturday between a tardeo and a commercial night with a salsa room. Malalts de Festa, in Cornellà, is a big indoor club with seven bars and an 80s and 90s tardeo. Teatre, in Sant Cugat, focuses on a 16+ Friday. All four publish their parties one by one, so check the date before you travel.
