La Terrrazza: Barcelona's Open-Air Club in Montjuïc, Season and Vibe
· Updated:
La Terrrazza, the open-air electronic club inside Poble Espanyol on Montjuïc in Barcelona, Spain, closed its 2026 season with a closing weekend on 9–11 October and comes back only once more this year, for Halloween on Saturday 31 October (00:00–06:00); after that, it returns next season, with no 2027 date announced yet.

Where things stand on 21 October 2026
On 13 October La Terrrazza announced on Instagram that the season was over and promised “one last terrifying bonus in the open air” on 31 October. That night is “Welcome to Club Inferno”, from midnight to 6am, with a secret line-up and costumes encouraged; as of 18 October the early-bird, first and second ticket releases were sold out and the third was on sale. Its website also lists two promoter dates, Happy Techno on 24 October and Soundset Sessions on 29 October, but its Instagram does not mention them and other listings place those series earlier in the month, so treat them as unconfirmed and ask us before planning around them.
What La Terrrazza is
Its Instagram bio says it all: “The Electronic Open Air Club / Since 1995 dancing under the stars / Every Weekend from April to November”. It sits inside the Poble Espanyol, the architectural open-air museum on Montjuïc, at Avinguda Francesc Ferrer i Guàrdia, and it has been putting on house and techno under the open sky every summer for more than thirty years. Nights run from midnight to 6am, and some sessions start at sunset, from 7pm. The music is electronic: house, techno and melodic, with international DJs. The 2026 closing weekend, for example, featured Chico Blanco, Courtesy, Mano Le Tough, who played the first sunset set of his career there, and Sofia Kourtesis.
The season: when it opens and closes
| 2026 | Notes | |
|---|---|---|
| Opening | 1–2 May (double opening, sold out) | Bio says “from April” |
| Closing | 9–11 October | Closing weekend |
| Extra date | 31 October, Halloween | 00:00–06:00 |
| 2027 | No date announced | In 2025 it closed with Halloween on 31 October–1 November |
So, in practice: from late April or May to October, La Terrrazza is open at weekends; from November to spring it is closed. When the 2027 opening is announced, it will appear on its Instagram first.
La Terrrazza, INPUT and Upload: same site, different clubs
If you are in Barcelona in winter and wanted La Terrrazza, the electronic night on the same Poble Espanyol site continues indoors: INPUT, at Avinguda Francesc Ferrer i Guàrdia 13, opens all year with a Funktion-One sound system and 360° LED screens, and Upload, in the same complex, runs punk, electronic, garage and other nights. They are separate clubs with their own programmes, not a winter version of La Terrrazza, but if what you want is electronic music on Montjuïc on a Saturday in November, that is where to go.
Age, dress and getting there
Time Out gives 18+ for La Terrrazza; bring ID with a photo. The club publishes a guide with tickets, hours and dress code on Instagram each season, but we could not read its exact wording, so we will not invent a rule: it is an electronic open-air club, and comfortable shoes for dancing on a terrace matter more than a smart outfit. Time Out lists Espanya (L1, L3 and FGC) as the nearest station. On Saturday nights the metro runs all night, so the Halloween party on 31 October is easy to get back from.
If Halloween sells out
Tickets for Club Inferno go in releases, and the first ones have already gone. If you miss out, two other seafront parties are announced for 31 October: SeaSeaClub at Port Fòrum, with an INPUT Halloween and a costume contest, and Tibu-Ron in Castelldefels, free and with no lists.
