What INPUT Barcelona Is Like: The Poble Espanyol Club, Sound and Age

· Updated:

INPUT High Fidelity Dance Club is an electronic music club inside the Poble Espanyol, on Montjuïc in Barcelona, Spain, open at weekends with house and techno, a Funktion-One sound system and 360-degree LED screens. Several of its parties are 20+, and there is no published dress code, but getting in on a big night is not always easy.

Where it is: inside the Poble Espanyol

The address is Avinguda de Francesc Ferrer i Guàrdia 13, inside the Poble Espanyol, on the slopes of Montjuïc. The club shares the grounds with Sala Upload, a gig venue with its own club nights, and, in summer, with La Terrrazza, the open-air club. With almost 145,000 followers on Instagram, INPUT is one of the most followed clubs in the city, and in 2026 it is among the Catalan clubs competing in The World's 100 Best Clubs poll.

The sound and the room

The name is a statement: “High Fidelity”. INPUT sells itself as an immersive techno experience with a Funktion-One rig and 360-degree LED visuals, and Time Out adds that the sound is set up in a circle around the floor. Resident Advisor describes an open-plan room under towering LED screens, with “headsy house and techno” programmed week by week. Its own posts point the same way: hypnotic techno, selector sessions and a series where DJs explain what is in their record bag.

Which nights it opens

INPUT is a weekend club. A typical weekend looks like the one of 23 and 24 October 2026: on Friday, “INPUT pres.”, its own night, with Eargasm God, Frederic and Agmindi; on Saturday, Culto, a promoter's party with its own following, billed as “It's a Ritual”. Saturdays often go to promoter parties like this one, so the same club can feel quite different from one week to the next. For Halloween, Saturday 31 October 2026, there were two parties: PRISM's Halloween with Quelza at the club itself, 20+, and INPUT's own Halloween taken out to SeaSeaClub, in the Port Fòrum.

Age, dress code and the door

“input barcelona dress code” is one of the most searched questions about any club in the city, so here is the honest answer: INPUT does not publish a dress code. What it does say is that it has zero tolerance for discrimination or hate and that “INPUT is a place where everyone is welcome”. On age, several of its parties are sold as 20+, so check the age on your ticket and bring a DNI or passport. Time Out warns that, with the DJs it books, getting in is not always easy: on big nights, buy in advance instead of trusting the door.

INPUT, Upload and La Terrrazza

Three venues, one set of grounds. INPUT is the indoor electronic club, all year. Upload, at the same address, is a gig venue with underground club nights: punk, electronic, garage, rock and reggaeton. La Terrrazza is the open-air club that runs from spring to autumn: it closed its 2026 season on 9 to 11 October and comes back only for a Halloween night on 31 October, before returning in spring 2027, on a date still to be announced.

Getting there and back

The nearest station is Espanya (metro L1 and L3, plus FGC trains), then a walk uphill. Leaving at closing time (6am at most on Fridays and Saturdays under Catalan rules), the metro is only running all night on Saturday; on Friday it stops around 2am, so plan for the NitBus or a taxi. Message us on WhatsApp and we will tell you which party is on and what age it asks for.
