Teatre Sant Cugat: What the Friday 16+ Club Night Is Like
· Updated:
Teatre is a club at Camí de Can Solà 9 in Sant Cugat del Vallès, just outside Barcelona, Spain, best known for its 16+ night every Friday from midnight to 6am, with hits, electronic music and reggaeton.

The Friday 16+ night
Teatre's Instagram bio is short and clear: “Best +16 Night Scene · Every Friday 12pm–6am” (midnight, in practice). That is its identity: a Friday night aimed at people aged 16 and over, in a market where most clubs in and around Barcelona set their own minimum at 18 or higher. Its ticketing agenda on 21 October 2026 showed two Fridays, “Back to Basics” on 23 October and “Halloween 2026” on 30 October, both from 00:00 to 06:00.
What the law says about 16+
In Catalonia, Decree 112/2010 (article 53) bans under-16s from clubs, dance halls and music bars, except for live shows with their parents. From 16, the law does not ban entry: whether a night is 16+, 18+ or 21+ is a condition each venue sets and must display at the door. That is why a 16+ night is legal, and also why the door will check documents. If you are a parent, the useful facts are the address, the hours (until 6am) and how your son or daughter is getting home.
The concept and the music
On its ticketing profile, Teatre presents itself as a new party and show concept for Sant Cugat, with the line “L'únic Teatre a on el protagonista ets tu”, the only theatre where you are the star. The music listed is hits, electronic and reggaeton: in other words, commercial club music for a young crowd. Its Instagram, with more than 25,000 followers, was active on 20 October 2026, and each Friday is published as a separate event with its own name and theme, like “Back to Basics” or the Halloween night, so the party changes from week to week. Do not confuse it with the Teatre-Auditori de Sant Cugat, the town's cultural theatre, which is a completely different venue.

Getting there and getting home
Teatre is in Sant Cugat, not in Barcelona, and the night ends at 6am. Sant Cugat is not on Barcelona's metro network, and on Fridays the metro stops around 2am anyway, so the way home has to be decided before going out: a parent picking up, a taxi shared by the group, or the first trains of the morning. For a birthday or a group of friends, message us on WhatsApp and we will tell you how the night works and what is on.
If you are 16 or 17: what to expect at the door
The Catalan admission rules are useful here. Each venue must set its entry conditions in concrete, objective terms and display them on a sign at the door, sealed by the authorities; staff can refuse entry to anyone who does not meet them, and anyone who thinks they were applied wrongly can file a complaint. In practice: bring an original ID document with a photo, check the age on the specific event before buying, and leave with a plan to get home. Teatre is not the only 16+ option around Barcelona: Titus Carpa, in Badalona, marks its Friday night, Nits al Temple, as 16+, and Malalts de Festa, in Cornellà, holds 16+ nights on specific dates, which close at 5am.
