What Sala Bikini Is Like: Gigs and Club Nights by L'Illa Diagonal

Sala Bikini is a concert hall and nightclub at Avinguda Diagonal 547, next to the L'Illa shopping centre in Barcelona: gigs in the evening, club nights after midnight. In October 2026 its main club brand, NOM, ran melodic house and techno nights from 00:00 to 06:00.

Two venues in one: gigs and club

Bikini describes itself as a 'nightclub and concert hall', and it runs the two sides under different names. The gigs have their own Instagram account, and the club nights go out under brands such as NOM and Tunnel. That split matters when you plan your night: a concert ticket gets you the show, and the club night after midnight is a separate event with its own ticket. The room is a Barcelona name with a long history; on 18 October 2026 the venue shared archive footage from Catalan TV to tell part of it. It's on the Diagonal in Les Corts, a long way from the old town, which gives it a mixed crowd of locals and people who come specifically for a gig.

The club nights: NOM and the rest

NOM is the brand you'll see most in autumn 2026, with an electronic line: melodic house and techno with international guests. On Saturday 24 October 2026 it hosted a Sudbeat Showcase with Danny Howells, Emi Galvan, Graziano Raffa and Sack, from midnight to 6am; earlier in the month it teamed up with the Art Nova label (17/10) and ran a 'NOM & RED' night on 3 October. Directory listings also mention salsa and bachata on Saturdays, commercial pop and melodic techno over the years, so the music depends a lot on who's running the night. Check the specific date before you go and don't assume Saturday is always the same party.

The gigs

The concert programme is broad and international, with a strong line in Latin American and Eastern European artists. In autumn 2026 the listings included Little Big (6 November), Druha Rika (15 November), Lyapis Trubetskoy (16 November) and Nervy Band (11 December); Aleks Syntek's show on 27 October was cancelled for health reasons. In September 2026 Plastilina Mosh played here. Concerts usually finish before the club opens, which is why some nights you can do both in the same building.

Age and dress code

We haven't found a published age rule for the NOM nights, so check it on each event. What's fixed is the law: in Catalonia under-16s can't get into nightclubs or concert halls, except live shows with a parent or guardian (Decree 112/2010, art. 53), and each venue can set a higher age. For the club nights, assume 18+ and bring ID. There's no written dress code either; at an electronic night people dress casual but tidy, and at a gig you go as you are.

Getting there and back

Bikini is at Avinguda Diagonal 547, next to L'Illa, in the upper part of the Diagonal. The metro runs until 2am on Friday night and all night on Saturday; on other nights it closes around midnight, and then you have the NitBus, every 20 minutes from 22:30 to 06:00, with most lines passing through Plaça de Catalunya (TMB, AMB).
