Techno in Barcelona: The Clubs and Where to Dance Each Weekend

· Updated:

Techno in Barcelona means Moog in the Raval, open every night since 1996, INPUT in the Poble Espanyol at weekends, Razzmatazz's five rooms in Poblenou, Nitsa on Fridays and Saturdays at Sala Apolo, and small clubs like Laut, Macarena and Les Enfants Brillants, according to their own listings checked on 21 October 2026.

The electronic scene here works differently from the commercial clubs on the seafront or in Tuset. Tickets are sold by the clubs themselves or on music platforms, the line-up matters more than the table, and dress codes are relaxed. Below, each club with what it does, then the dates we've checked for the coming weeks. We review this page every month.

Moog: techno every night in the Raval

Moog, on Carrer de l'Arc del Teatre just off the lower Rambla, sums itself up in its bio: techno since 1996, 365 nights a year. It opens at 23:59 and closes at 05:00 from Sunday to Thursday and at 06:00 on Fridays and Saturdays. Downstairs is techno and house; upstairs the music is more pop. Prices on its website for October and November 2026 go from €5 to €18; Jeff Mills with Uroz on Wednesday 28 October, at €18, was already sold out.

INPUT and Upload: the Poble Espanyol

INPUT, at Avinguda de Francesc Ferrer i Guàrdia 13 inside the Poble Espanyol, is the big-sound option: Time Out and RA highlight its Funktion-One system, circular sound and 360-degree LED screens. It opens at weekends; on 23 October 2026 it hosted its own INPUT pres. night and on the 24th the Culto party. Upload, in the same building, is a different thing: it calls itself a refuge for the Barcelona underground and mixes punk, electronic music, garage and rock. Further up the same complex, La Terrrazza is the open-air club, closed for the season since 11 October and back for one night at Halloween.

Razzmatazz and Nitsa: the long-running nights

Razzmatazz, in Poblenou, opens five clubs on Fridays, Saturdays and eves of holidays, with entrances on Carrer dels Almogàvers 122 and Carrer de Pamplona 88 (Metro Marina, L1, or Bogatell, L4). Its weekly club programme has El Dirty on Wednesday, Mandanga on Thursday, RazzClub on Friday and Saturday and Human, its electronic night, on Saturday, plus Sunday sessions. Its FAQ says clubs are 18+ and that you need a DNI, passport or driving licence. Nitsa is the electronic night of Sala Apolo, in Poble-sec, on Fridays and Saturdays from midnight to 06:00; it calls itself the longest-running electronic music club in Barcelona. Apolo's FAQ sets 18 from midnight with photo ID.

Small rooms: Laut, Macarena, Les Enfants Brillants and Boris

If you prefer a small room close to the booth, Barcelona has four good options. Laut, on Carrer de Vila i Vilà in Poble-sec, describes itself as small-format clubbing and opens Friday and Saturday from midnight to 05:00. Macarena Club, in the Gothic Quarter, holds around 80 people around a central booth with a Funktion-One system, and says it's open every night. Les Enfants Brillants, on Carrer de la Guàrdia in the Raval, holds about 400 with an L-Acoustics system and on Sunday 25 October 2026 had tINI and Onur Özer. Boris, in Sant Gervasi, is a club of around 250 people with techno, deep house, afro house and amapiano, open on Thursdays and weekends according to Mixmag; we haven't found its entry ages published by the club, so ask before going.

Techno outside the specialist clubs

Three more places for techno, each with a catch. City Hall, at the top of Rambla de Catalunya, advertises techno, house, hard techno and hits 365 days a year in a former theatre with two rooms. Ku, on the seafront, has Sunday sessions with house and techno guests: on 25 October 2026, Kaluki with Lee Foss. And SeaSeaClub at Port Fòrum keeps its weekend house and tech house parties going in autumn until 03:00, with a Halloween hosted by INPUT on 31 October.

Two practical notes. Techno nights run late, and from Sunday to Thursday the Metro stops at midnight, so you'll be on the NitBus; on Saturdays the Metro runs all night. And afters exist as a legal category in Catalonia (special-regime venues, 07:00 to 14:00, 18+ only), but there's no public list of who holds that licence. For tickets, a table or the guest list on the nights that have one, message us on WhatsApp.

Frequently asked questions

What's the best techno club in Barcelona?

There isn't one answer, so here are criteria you can check. Moog is the one open every night since 1996; INPUT and Razzmatazz are the big rooms (both nominated for The World's 100 Best Clubs 2026, like Les Enfants Brillants and Boris); Nitsa at Apolo calls itself the city's longest-running electronic club night; Macarena and Laut are the small-room option.

Is there techno on weeknights?

Yes. Moog opens every night of the year, Macarena says it's open every night, and City Hall advertises 365 days with techno, house and hard techno. Moog had sessions on Wednesday 21 and Monday 26 October 2026, for example.

What age do techno clubs ask for?

18+ is the norm, and Razzmatazz and Sala Apolo publish it with the ID they accept. Some nights ask for more: INPUT's Halloween 2026 party was 20+ and Les Enfants Brillants' was 21+.

Are there afters in Barcelona?

Catalan rules allow special-regime venues (afters) to open from 07:00 to 14:00, and they're 18+ only. We haven't found a published list of which venues hold that licence, so we don't name any.

How much is a techno night?

At Moog, from €5 to €18 depending on the night in October and November 2026 (the €18 one, Jeff Mills on 28 October, was sold out). Razzmatazz's Wednesday on 21 October started at €13. Big names and Halloween cost more.
