What La Fira Casanova Is Like: Throwback Day Parties and Weekend Nights

A neighbourhood club in the Eixample

La Fira Casanova isn't on the tourist circuit. It's on a residential street in the left side of the Eixample, the grid of blocks west of Passeig de Gràcia, and its crowd is mostly local: groups of friends, birthdays and people who want a night out without crossing the city. It shares its name and its style of Instagram bio with La Fira Villarroel, a few streets away on Carrer de Villarroel; both open on Friday and Saturday nights with the same hours, so if one is full, people often try the other. The club's posts keep the message simple: two days a week to dance, catch up with people and have a drink.

The Saturday day party

What sets La Fira Casanova apart is its Saturday afternoon. On 24 October 2026 the listing was 'El Tardeo 90's', from 18:00 to 23:00, and for Halloween (Saturday 31 October) it ran a throwback afternoon with hits from the 70s, 80s, 90s and 2000s from 18:00, 18+, from €12 with a drink. It's the format Spanish people call 'tardeo': you start early, dance to songs you grew up with and are home before the metro gets complicated. It works well for people over 30 and for groups who don't want a 6am finish.

The nights: Friday and Saturday

At night La Fira Casanova is a commercial club. Its bio gives Friday and Saturday from 00:00 to 05:30 (the Friday 23 October listing opened at 23:45), and directory listings describe the music as reggaeton, urban and trap, and commercial. That closing time sits inside the general Catalan rule for nightclubs, which allows 6am on Fridays, Saturdays and nights before a holiday (Order INT/358/2011). From Sunday to Thursday it's closed.

Age, dress code and prices

The Halloween 2026 day party was 18+. For other dates the age is set per party, within Catalan law, which keeps under-16s out of nightclubs (Decree 112/2010, art. 53) and lets each venue set a higher limit; bring ID. Getting home

At night, a local crowd that wants reggaeton and commercial music close to home, without the queues and prices of the seafront clubs. If you're visiting and want the big-name clubs, they're elsewhere; if you want a night out like a local in the Eixample, this is one.
