What Razzmatazz Is Like: The Rooms, the Music and How a Night Works

· Updated:

Razzmatazz is the big one in Barcelona, Spain: a concert venue in Poblenou that turns into a club with up to five rooms on Friday and Saturday nights, each with a different sound, from techno to pop, reggaeton and indie. Club nights are 18+ and it has been at it for 25 years.

Where it is and why everyone knows it

The main door is at Carrer dels Almogàvers 122, and Rooms 2 and 3 have their own entrance round the corner at Carrer de Pamplona 88. Its Instagram bio sums it up as “25 anys connectant música i ciutat”, 25 years connecting music and the city, and with more than 180,000 followers it is the most followed of all the clubs in this guide. Time Out describes it as a live-music complex with three concert rooms and five spaces for club nights, and in 2026 it is one of the Catalan clubs competing in The World's 100 Best Clubs poll. During the week it is mostly gigs: the agenda for the week of 19 October ran from Band of Horses to Tan Biónica and Miki Núñez.

The rooms and what plays in each

This is what makes Razzmatazz different: you pay once and move between rooms. Its website lists rooms such as a main room for hits, a Perreo Room, La Electrónica, The Rave, a Pop Bar and even a Karaoke Room, and which ones open depends on the night. Resident Advisor calls it a “five room super-club” with techno, house and indie side by side.

Human, the Saturday techno series in Rooms 2 and 3, is the one electronic fans come for; RA highlights it for mixing DJs, live acts and collectives. The weekday parties are cheaper and more student-heavy: on Wednesday 21 October 2026 El Dirty was on sale from €13 (indicative). For Halloween the club runs its own Razzlloween: on 21 October the Friday 30 night was already on a waiting list.

Age, ID and dress code

Club nights are strictly 18+, and the venue asks for a valid DNI, passport or driving licence, so a photo on your phone will not do. Concerts set their own minimum age, event by event. There is no strict dress code; the venue only asks you to skip football shirts, clothes with political messages and flip-flops. Lockers replace a cloakroom: €6.50 per event, paid online. One more thing worth knowing: Razzmatazz says it has no guest list on Fridays and Saturdays, and it sells at the door only if the night has not sold out.

Getting there and getting back

The nearest metro stations are Marina (L1) and Bogatell (L4), and the night buses N11 and N0 stop nearby. Club nights finish late: under Catalan rules a nightclub can stay open until 5am, or 6am on Fridays, Saturdays and the night before a public holiday. The metro runs all night only from Saturday into Sunday; on Fridays the last trains leave around 2am, so after that it is NitBus or taxi. Wolf, further down the same street at Almogàvers 88, and Sala VOL, a couple of minutes away, make easy before or after plans.
