What Sala Plataforma Is Like: Hits, Rock and Throwbacks in Poble-sec Since 1986
· Updated:
Sala Plataforma is a club and live venue at Nou de la Rambla 145, in Barcelona's Poble-sec, open since 1986, with hits, rock and throwback music on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights from midnight to 6am. Since 27 September 2026 it also runs a Saturday afternoon party from 18:00.

Plataforma has been on Nou de la Rambla since 1986, according to its own bio, and calls itself a 'sala de festes i concerts', a party and concert hall. The street is one of the city's nightlife spines: further down, at number 113, is Sala Apolo, and a few blocks away, on Carrer de Vila i Vilà , the small electronic club Laut. Plataforma plays a different card from both. Its three words are 'Hits, Rock, Remember': songs people of several generations know, rock classics and the throwback tracks Spaniards call 'remember'. Directory listings add funk, soul and disco.

Thursday: electro, indie and underground
Thursday is the night with its own identity. In autumn 2026 Plataforma ran 'Underground Plataforma', a night of electro, indie and 'underground hits' with Barcelona DJs: Aka Inu and friends on 1 October and the fourth edition on 8 October with Aka Inu, Lakss and Silvia UK. The club sells it as 'Thursdays have a different energy', a night to get lost in Poble-sec. If you like indie and electro more than reggaeton, it's one of the better midweek plans in this part of town.
Weekends: night sessions and the Saturday day party
Friday and Saturday are the hits and throwback nights, from midnight to 6am according to its bio. Since 27 September 2026 Saturday also has an afternoon session: the bio calls it 'Super Tardeo', from 18:00 to midnight, and the October listing named it 'Platardeo', from 18:00 to 23:00, before the night session. The club sells tickets for both the night and the day party in advance, and for Halloween 2026 it put on a special 'super tardeo'. The day party is the plan for people who want the music of the 80s, 90s and 2000s and an early night.
Plataforma, Apolo and Laut: one neighbourhood, three nights
Poble-sec gives you three very different clubs within a short walk, so it helps to know which is which. Sala Apolo, which calls itself 'Club de clubs', mixes gigs with club nights in several rooms, and on Fridays and Saturdays hosts Nitsa, its long-running electronic club, from midnight to 6am. Laut is a small electronic club ('clubbing en pequeño formato') open Friday and Saturday from midnight to 5am. Plataforma is the one for singing along: hits, rock and throwbacks, with Thursday as its indie and electro night. If your group can't agree, this is a good street to split up and meet later.
Age and dress code
Plataforma doesn't publish a minimum age or a dress code. Catalan law keeps under-16s out of nightclubs and party halls (Decree 112/2010, art. 53) and each venue can set a higher age, so bring ID. The crowd is mixed in age, especially at the day party, and the dress is casual.
Getting there and back
Nou de la Rambla runs up from the Paral·lel into Poble-sec. To get home, the metro runs until 2am on Friday nights and all night on Saturdays, and closes around midnight on Thursdays; the NitBus runs every 20 minutes from 22:30 to 06:00, with most lines via Plaça de Catalunya (TMB, AMB). Directions are on the venue page.
